REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
WORKSHOPS & OTHER EVENTS
These sessions are priced individually. Pls check out all the details if there isn’t a specific policy mentioned in the event description, we will refer to this general policy.
50% refund if cancelled up to 1 week before the event
25% refund if cancelled up to 48 hrs before the event
No Refund if cancelled less than 48 hrs before the event
DAILY CLASSES
No-Shows: As a small Yoga Studio business that tries to offer as many classes to the community as possible in Canterbury, unfortunately, we can’t afford to offer refunds (or transfers) for missed classes.
However, we understand there might be very rare situations that need to be evaluated individually, in this case, please contact us.
The cancellation window for daily classes is 6 hours before the start time. If you cancel a class less than 6 hrs you lose the credit you used for that booking.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING & PRIVACY
1. Booking is essential.
2. Our booking provider is MomoYoga. When you click to book a class on our website you are directed to the MomoYoga website to make your payment and complete the booking.
3. We don’t share or sell your email address with third parties.
We use your email address to update you about classes, workshops and all other events and to share inspirational blog posts occasionally.
ENTRY
1. The main building door might be closed during out-of-office hours. If so, use the telecom to ring the studio (room 207) and your teacher will let you in.
2. Arrive 5-10 mins before the session starts (except for Mysore classes)
Your teacher might not be able to respond to the telecom after the session starts, so it’s your responsibility to arrive on time. We don’t offer refunds for missed classes due to this reason.
3. We are located on the 2nd floor. For detailed instructions click the “FIND US” tab on the website.
IN THE SHALA
As you know we have limited space in the Shala and we need your cooperation to have things work smoothly. We appreciate your understanding and help on this.
1. Keep the shala clean.
2. Put your shoes away in the shoe cabinet. Feel free to use the grey blanket chest to sit on when you take off/put on shoes.
3. Try to minimise food & drink consumption during class.
4. Take all props away after the session ends. Use mat cleaners.
5. Use the hangers for your bags & coats etc. Don’t keep your bags near your mat during practice.
SHARED FACILITIES
1. We share the floor with other businesses so please be respectful and don’t make noise in the corridors.
2. We share the toilets on our floor with other businesses and keep them clean.
3. If you need to use the kitchen, your teacher will help you.
DURING YOUR PRACTICE
1. We have a dedicated and highly qualified group of teachers in the shala, they are here to help with your practice.
However, there is no one else who is better than you when it comes to listening to your body. If you want to adjust your practice, feel free to discuss this with your teacher and ask for help.
Some of our teachers might be using hands-on assists as a teaching tool. You will be asked for permission but feel free to opt out anytime you need even if you have given permission initially.
2. DECLARATION
It’s your responsibility to inform the teachers about your health conditions or any changes that happen later after the first declaration. This includes;
* injury
* operation
* pregnancy etc
If you don’t wish to share your health conditions with us you must send us an e-mail to confirm this when booking your first session.. Otherwise, we may assume you don’t have any health conditions.
3. By signing up for a class at Yoga Shala Canterbury you are agreed to above.
